Some Unique Uses Of Camouflage

Hunters already know the benefits using camouflage to get as close to the animal as possible, or to avoid detection.  We specialize in creating patterns for your guns, bows, and hunting equipment to give you an extra advantage and added style while hunting. Camouflage goes far beyond the hunter though. Animals use it too. It may be their best defense.  Unlike humans, they have the natural ability to blend in with their surroundings.  A defense mechanism developed over many years, they rely on camouflage to avoid predators, including human hunters.

Take a look at some of these photos and see if you can find the animals using a natural form of camouflage.  Art Wolfe took the photographs as part of his “”Vanishing Act” project. You can check out all the photos here in a story posted by The Huffington Post.

Camouflage doesn’t just limit itself to defense. Most commonly, the military, hunters and as we just saw, animals use it.  However, more and more people are getting creative with blending into their surroundings. Liu Bolin, a Chinese artist known as the king of camouflage, finds normal ever day scenes and landscapes and photographs himself blending in.  Check out some of his pictures.

We’re in the business of camouflage. It continues to evolve and change.  Our custom patterns and prints for guns, equipment and clothing never remain the same.
